Ali Zafar Foundation to help needy PU students

LAHORE: (Staff Report): Renowned singer Ali Zafar’s community service organization Ali Zafar Foundation would extend financial help to needy PU students.

In this regard, PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir called on Honorary Adviadsor to Ali Zafar Foundation Mr Rashid Ahmed in the committee room of VC office while Chairperson Department of Information Management Dr Kanwal Amin and PU Acting Treasurer Rao Muhammad Sharif were present on the occasion.

Mr Rashid Ahmed handed over a cheque of Rs 300,000 for PU endowment fund. He said that this amount would be increased to Rs 1 million for PU endowment fund in order to help more and more deserving students of Punjab University.

PU VC Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir appreciated Ali Zafar Foundation team for financial support to poor students in order to help them complete their studies.
