Several Midwestern states are reeling from historic flooding which hit the area a few weeks ago.
A lot of people have been safely shifted from that place. The process, however, is very slow. A lot of people have been donating or trying to help the victims by various deeds of kindness.
Addy Tritt, a 25 year old woman, bought the entire stock of the discount shop which was closing down and donated 204 pairs to the victims of the flood.
‘Any shoes are better than wet shoes’
she says. According to the BBC news, the 204 pairs worth $6,000. After Tritt’s negotiation with the shop’s head office, she only paid $100 for the complete stock.
If people feel lost, they should try volunteering and donating. It gives me such fulfillment and I want others to feel the way I do.
The pairs were sent to the victims on the shipment to Nebraska farmers organized by a local agricultural group.
