Ayyan Ali’s plea rejected by the court

LAHORE: (March 14, 2019): Ayyan Ali’s plea for the cancellation of her arrest warrant has been rejected by the Lahore High Court. The court said that no hearing for this case could be fixed due to the unavailability of Ayyan in Pakistan.

In 2015, the model was arrested in the case of smuggling the currency and major politicians were involved. The model has not attended the court, therefore the court issued the arrest warrant. Ayyan told the court that she was unwell and could not ensure here presence in the court earlier. She pleaded the court to suspend her arrest warrant. However, the court rejected her plea.
