Committee for anti-drug has been formed in schools of Punjab

LAHORE: Punjab Government has formed a committee to spread awareness about drugs, for surveying schools and to suggest the appropriate solution to stop the use of it in the educational institutions of Lahore.

Dr Marina Zulfikar has been appointed as the chairperson of this committee and the committee has to provide the results in 15 days time.

Minister of School Education Muraad Raas had already announce about the introduction testing of drugs in students in the campaign against drug abuse in educational institutes. Reports of the testing will be shared with the parents of all the students of both private and public.

Punjab Government is working with the Anti-Narcotics Force(ANF) and Health Department of Punjab. Certain steps regarding the use of drugs in educational institutions will be taken.
