Girls again on top in BA/BSc result 2018

LAHORE: (September 10, 2018): Punjab University has announced BA/BSc results 2018 and again girls got top positions in this exam. Girls’ clinched five out of six positions and only one boy manage to get top position in BSc exam.

The result declared by the controller of examination at a price distribution ceremony in Punjab University’s Al-Razi Hall on Monday. University’s Vice Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad, Acting Controller of Examinations Abdul Rauf, Additional Controller Raja Shahid Javed, Deans of faculties, senior faculty members, students and their parents also present on the occasion.

According to notification 224,143 students appeared in BA/BSc exams where 99,366 declared successful. The ratio of successful candidate is 44.33.

In Part-I result 131,815 students appeared and 51,980 able to pass with the percentage of 39.33. On the other hand Part-II posed 51.94 percent result where appeared candidate are 84,266 and passed candidate are 43,767.

A total of 5,608 candidate appeared in composite exam and 1,968 passed, posting 35.09pc result.

BSc student Muhammad Umer Ali roll no. 020520 got overall first position by getting 712 marks. BSc student Sidra Khan 67239 got 2nd position by scoring 711 and Rukhsana Nazer 083714 secure 3rd position by obtaining 699 marks.

In BA result Saima Jabeen 010423 obtained 1st position by securing 666 marks. Shazma Rehman got 2nd position by obtaining 646 marks and Zeenat Anmol secure 3rd slot with 641 marks.
