Prime minister house will be transformed into State Of The Art University: Prime Minister Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: (August 20, 2018): Prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in his inaugural speech, on Sunday, announced the future agenda of his government. In his words, he not only pledged to adopt austerity but also vowed to reforms in education sector.

PM citing austerity, decided to convert PM house into State Of The Art University. This university will deal with science and technology research. According to PM, Prime Minister House used to consume huge sum of money every year. Pakistan have huge burden of debts but on the other hand we used to live lavish lifestyle.

He said PM house spread around 1100 kanal, 524 staff members and 80 vehicles in which 30 are bulletproof. By giving PM house as a university status Imran Khan decided to live in the house of military secretary consist on merely three bed rooms.

In his previous speeches when PM was in opposition said that PTI’s government will transform PM and Governor houses into Universities. He affirming half of his promise but half of the promise regarding universitilzed the governor house is still pending. PM only announced to cut off expenditure of Governor House.

In his later speech PM also presented his agenda to improve the capacity and standard of government schools. PM affirmed that in KPK 150,000 children were shifted from private to government schools because of sharp improvement in public sector school.

PM said that similar reforms will implement all over the country. The target is to enroll 22.5 million children that unable to attend school because of poverty.

In his speech he also point out the Madrassah Education and want to integrated it into national social political fabric by introducing Madrassah Reforms. With these reforms, PM hopes that students of Madrassah also able to become Docter, Engineers and judges simultanoulsy with their religious education.
