Scholarships distributed by Ijaz Alam Augustine

LAHORE: (April 03, 2019): On the special direction of CM Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, the provincial minister HR&MA Ijaz Alam visited Faisalabad Division to distribute educational scholarships amounting of Rs. 2.7 million to the 98 talented students belong to the minority community of Faisalabad division.

In this regard a ceremony held at Circuit House. Provincial minister congratulated the recipients of the scholarships and said in his address that CM Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar had allocated Rs.30 million for providing educational scholarships to the talented students of minorities during the current year and Government was committed to raise the percentage of scholarship.  

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and CM Punjab were very much encouraging to the talented and able students by providing them handsome scholarships and other awards which would help in bringing about the education revolution for the rapid development of the country. 

Meanwhile, Minister for Minorities Ijaz Alam Augustine met with Divisional Commissioner Mehmood Javed Bhatti and RPO Ghulam Mehmood Dogar in their offices to discuss the matters regarding minority Affairs in the Faisalabad Division. DC Sardar Saifullah Dogar, AOC Riaz Anjum, Protocol Officer Mian Farooq, President West Punjab Region PTI Habqoob Gill, Senior V P Farooq Khokhar, Nargis Naheed and representatives of minority community were also present on the occasion.
