The town near by my house is the most famous location for any small business to start. Several handcraft makers e.g. the ones who make pottery, painters, young bakers and old men who sell their poetry; other handmade stuff sellers have been displaying their stalls in this town for a very long time.
Around early afternoon, while I was my way back home I recognized an elder lady who was trying to attract the buyers to purchase her knitted scarves and gloves which were the perfect essential for the present cold weather. She was wandering around the streets so that the people can see her hard work which she had given to the colourful outwear.
During the afternoon, when the sun was on its max, the people are usually out to have their lunch or to enjoy the half cold and half hot weather. No one was even looking at her craft, hardly one or two people bought something from her. It was vividly seen that her sales were less as compared to other stalls.
The lady should have displaced her stall at night instead of mid afternoon because that is the most rushy hour of the day in this town. During this time people are mostly busy in the household chores thus, they are least interested in shopping. She should start advertise her scarves and gloves on proper decent charts along with this she should make pamphlets which are supposed to be given to people by hand. The young children should help her as it would be difficult for her to manage her stall at this age.
The small businesses are the best way to go further to have a successful one ahead. We should support such things because they open up our minds to be more creative and to be self-independent at an early age.
