Foreign delegates visit PU IAGS

LAHORE: (Friday, 27, 2018): Foreign delegates from C-4 countries along with Pakistan’s Cotton Commissioner Dr. Khalid Abdullah visited the Punjab University Institute of Agricultural Sciences for cross pollination of knowledge; experience and development for the control of cotton leaf curl virus menace. IAGS Director Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Haider along with eminent scientists working on this project briefed result oriented progress to the audience.

At the end, all representatives of Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali and Benin appreciated the valued research results and thanked the university administration for extending the facilities, protocol provided by the university administration. The delegates showed their interest for collaboration in different research projects on viruses and cotton crop. They also wished to sign MoU for this collaboration.
