The Punjab home department has issued an emergency post for daily combing operation in regard of foolproof security for the education institutions of all over the province. In the first phase, combing operation will be proceeded around the A and A-plus category institution whereas the other institutes will also be reached in a second phase. The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Rangers will jointly take part in the operation.
It was also directed by the home department that all the education Institutes would follow the single entry and exit system whereas the emergency exit would also be created and the rehearsal should also be carried out for emergency evacuation.
Meanwhile, the District Coordination Officers (DCO) had also been directed to take precautionary measures keeping in view the security concerns related to the educational institutions in the province. It was ordered to all the school administration to ensure proper identification before handing over the children to their parents or close-ones. It was also maintained that hawkers should not be allowed to establish their stalls in the vicinity of the institutions.
