The University of Management and Technology (UMT) arranged a mehfil-e-mushaira regarding the upcoming Independence Day of Pakistan. It was presided over by famous poet Anwar Masood, while  Dr. Rafique Ahmed Khan, Dr Sajjd Shami, Dr. Muhammad Kamran and many other poets were also present . They recited their poetry and received thunder appreciation from the audience.
UMT Rector Dr. Hassan Suhaib Murad, senior professors and large number of the university students witnessed the mushaira. At the end of the ceremony, the souvenirs were presented to the poets by the UMT management.
