BZU acting VC tenure extended

Echoes about Dr. Irshad’s appointment paused

LAHORE: (Saturday, July 13, 2019) The Punjab governor/ Chancellor BZU Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has extended the tenure of acting term for the post of vice chancellor to Dr. Tariq Mehmood Ansari of Bahauddin Zakariya university Multan for 3 months or till the appointment of regular vice chancellor.

According to the resource it was humour, especially in Bahauddin University and commonly in other universities that Dr. Irshad Bhatti’s summery has been also sent to the Governor Chancellor. Dr. Tariq Insari also serving  as Chairman of Chemistry Department. As vice Chancellor he assigned in December 2018 for six months. It was his additional charges.

Dr. Tariq is the most senior professor of BZU. He has over 30 years’ postgraduate teaching and research experience at university level. After M.Sc, he joined BZU in1986 as a lecturer.

He did his PhD from University of Aberdeen in Scotland. He attended 800 national and international seminars, workshops.
