Closed Post Office of Mand

Recently, I was shocked to watch a news Channel which was highlighting a serious issue regarding the Post Office at Mand which has been closed from 2007 till present and the building is completely destroyed. The people of Mand are facing several types of problems and are compelled to travel 150 km to Turbat even for their petty works in Post Office.

Recently, the metric students of Mand have faced the similar kind of a problem when they went to receive their slips cards for the matriculation exam which are going to take place this month. It has been a decade that people are undergoing some issues but no one takes any action for to reconstruct and reopen it with full facilities.
The government of Balochistan seemed like they are lifeless who didn’t take it as a serious issue to provide the Mand’s people their basic necessities to live happily. In fact, General Post Office (GPO) is very much necessary for every big city which is too considered as the fundamental necessity of the citizens but unfortunately we are deprived of such facilities by our government.
Being a student, It is a humble request that the Government of Balochistan and Policy makers to hear the cries of the people and re-open the Mand’s Post Office as soon as possible so that the coming generation must not tackle the same problem as we have been facing it from 2007 till 2018. We expect that the government will start its construction and respond it very soon.
