LAHORE: Punjab University Dean Faculty of Life Sciences, Professor of Zoology and former Registrar Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem Khan has won the prestigious European Union’s Erasmus Mundus Post-Doctoral Exchange Scholarship for 2015.
According to the EXPERTS SUSTAIN Consortium Grant announced by the International Program Coordinator, Gottingen International, George-August Gottingen University, Germany, European Commission’s EXPERTS (Exchange by Promoting quality Education, Research & Training in South and South-East Asia) SUSTAIN PostDoc Fellowship grant for 6 months has been awarded to Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem Khan for his research placement in the University of Zagreb, Croatia. EXPERTS – SUSTAIN is a European-funded Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Project which began in 2014 and will close in 2018. This project intends to finance 172 mobilities between Europe and South/South-East Asia for academic and professional purposes. The EXPERTS consortium consists of 20 partner universities, 7 of which are from European and 13 of which are from South and Southeast Asian (from Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand) higher education institutions. —Staff Report
