Indonesian journalists visit PU

LAHORE (Wednesday– November 08, 2017): A six-member delegation of senior Indonesian journalists is visiting Punjab University vice chancellor office and Institute of Communication Studies on Thursday (Nov 09, 2017).

The media delegation included Editor Jakarta Post Mr. Imanuddin Razak, Editor-in-Cheif  Tempo magazine Mr. Arif Zulkifi, Editor in Chief Rakyat Merdeka Mrs Kartika Sari, Mrs Andini Weningtyas Effendi Anchor and reporter Metro TV and Mr irvan Januari from Metro TV.

The delegation would call on PU Vice Chancellor Dr. Zafar Mueen Nasir and discuss areas of mutual interest. Faculty of PU Media Studies would be also present on this occasion.  

Both the sides would explore collaboration for promotion and enhancement of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Indonesia, media house and to help understand the regional and international developments affecting the region.

Later, the delegation would visit PU Institute of Communication Studies and witness facilities of TV studio, Audio-Video Lab, PU FM 104.6 besides their interaction with faculty and students.   

The Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) is hosting the delegation in Pakistan and arranging its visit to various institutions and media organizations.
