In the present scenario, women are not safe outside their homes. They are seen as toys that anyone is ready to play with. Why a woman is harassed, humiliated, eve-teased or raped? Only because she is a woman! From her birth to death, she is treated as a non-living thing.

When a girl is born she is murdered somewhere rarely accepted, when she gets mature she go to school where boys tease her. When she regrets she is attacked with acid, raped or harassed.

When she gets married, she is mentally and physically harassed by her husband for dowry or other reasons. She is not safe anywhere and society blames women who face all these problems.

If a woman is doing some job or a girl is studying at school or college and something negative or a crime happens, society blame her that why was she was outside home. Don’t women have right to go outside home, can’t they live their life freely, why boundaries are built for women only and not for men equally? Why is it said that you are a woman? Is woman not a living being.

Today women are more successful than men. They are successful in every field, they are doing every work which a man can do. on the other side, crimes and violence against women are on the rise. Our government and police need to take strict action against the criminals involved in harassment and rape cases so they can feel the same pain what a woman feels. They should be punished with an iron hand so that no one can dare to destroy the future of any woman.

Our government should implement women protection laws properly so that women not feel like hell in their own country. Islam gives a lot of respect to women, why not our society? We as a nation cannot progress until and unless the women folk of the society feels respect and protected.
