LAHORE: A ceremony of laptop distribution held at Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, Phase- II, on December 1,2016. A total 266 laptops were distributed among the students.
Member National Assembly PML(N) Mrs. Shehnaz Saleem Malik was the chief guest of the ceremony while Member Provincial Assembly PML(N) Mrs. Najma Arshad, Ghazi University Vice Chancellor Dr.Qaiser Mushtaq, Ghazi University Registrar Mr. Dr. Najeeb Haider, Ghazi University Deputy Registrar Mr. Shuaib Raza, Deans, Head of Departments and large number of students were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on this occasion, MNA Mrs. Shehnaz Saleem Malik said government is fully aware of the importance of the education specially in South Punjab. It’s Prime Minister’s vision to bring knowledge in students hand. Every single moment of spending on knowledge is a prayer. She further said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is very clear and committed to support the youth of the country specially youth of south Punjab and Prime Minister’s Laptop scheme is the part of PM’S vision to uplift youth.
Earlier, Ghazi University Vice Chancellor Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq in his address said PM Laptop scheme was a great initiative of the government to give laptops to the students. He further said Pakistan is including in some countries of the world where ratio of youth is high, we should have to work hard in the field of education, any person who works in the field of education he must be appreciated. He said told the students, “Whenever you use this laptop it will reminds you that you worked hard and it is your reward for hardworking. The government is keeping an eye on the talented students and giving them rewards in the form of laptops, scholarship, internship programs.
