Punjab University Development Journalism students displayed their advertising projects under the supervision of Miss Urooj Fatima. Purpose of display was to make students pass through a rigorous process of testing in marketing techniques of media as well as providing a practical exposure of professionalism. External jury judged and graded the projects after one on one interaction with the groups. A total 11 stalls were set up with newer ideas. Students not only established their brands but also prepared feasibility for media marketing.
ICS in-charge director Dr. Noshina Saleem inaugurated the ceremony, while faculty members Rashid Khan, Aamer Bajwa and Shabbir Sarwar were also present. Students efforts were highly applauded. Brand ideas ranged from launch of new internet company, online fresh fruit basket selling, and online media houses. Students felt enriched with the practical tools of media marketing and thanked the faculty and admin for such exposure. Students, faculty members and administration vowed to continue such efforts in future as well.
