Zero tolerance for extremism in UET:VC Dr. Fazal Ahmad

University of engineering and Technology Lahore Vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Fazal ahmad Khalid held a special interactive session with students and coordinators of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Talking to the
students Prof. Dr. Fazal said, “University administration is ensuring quality measures to promote research culture in university. along with academics university is very keen to develop students to cope up the professional challenges”.

He said, “ensuring security measures are one of the top most priorities of administration. along with security,
administration is taking steps to develop harmony and tolerance among students. In this regard violence in any capacity will strongly be discouraged. The Punjab government has instructed university to take strict action against the extremist elements found anywhere in university premises.” He said, “University of engineering & Technology is one of the role model universities where students from diverse culture, study and interact with each other.” In the end the vice chancellor answered to the students questions. He noted the suggestions made by the students and ensured them to take favorable actions.
